Have you ever wonder what your toys do when you leave them alone? Toy Story will show you the answer to that as they become real like humans. The story begins with a boy named Andy playing with his toys, but it is Woody whom he plays more. But on his birthday, Andy receives a self-possessed, gadget-laden spaceman action figure named Buzz Lightyear, who quickly becomes Andy's favorite.
As the story goes, Woody becomes very jealous. But when a turn of events leaves Buzz and Woody lost in the "outside world," they have to get along in order to find their way home. And they'd better do it quickly, because Andy and his family are moving tomorrow! However, their trek is interrupted by Sid, Andy's cruel, malicious neighbor--who loves to destroy toys.
With a cast of top vocal talent headed by Tom Hanks and Tim Allen and also starring Don Rickles, Jim Varney, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger, Annie Potts, and Laurie Metcalf plus three entertaining new songs and an inspired score by renowned composer/performer Randy Newman, the fantasy takes flight and provides extraordinary delights for moviegoers of all ages.
