This exciting series begins when Greg Heffley is thrust into middle school, where undersized weaklings share the hallways with kids who are taller, meaner, and already shaving. Originally a web comic, Diary Of A Wimpy Kid follows 7th-grader Greg Heffley through the ups and downs of junior high through words and pictures. The dilemmas of popularity, teen angst, and more, are humorously shared in this wonderful book.
Jeff Kinney's Diary of a Wimpy Kid in hardcover format was told from the point of view of Greg, a boy whose mom makes him keep a journal about his life. A childlike scrawl and scribbly line drawings illustrate the story. The hazards of growing up are inimitably revealed through words and drawings as Greg records them in his diary. Very entertaining and a great tool for storytelling with an added funny scenes from the life of Greg who's just trying to make it through school in one piece. Ideally for young readers, follow the adventures of Greg through the Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Not only little children will get hook with it but every family can relate to this wonderful book.
