Equipped with modern shifting system: DNP downtube alloy shift levers, SUNTOUR derailleur front & ALTUS derailleur rear. Now 14-speeds with 7-speed freewheel freehub & cassette. Cables & housings replaced. Retrofitted with alloy road/racing-style drop-down bars & stem with new custom Profile yellow cork wrap.. Brake system retrofitted with Schwinn's dual-pull alloy levers, using Schwinn's original side-pull alloy calipers. Pads replaced. Cables & housings replaced. Retrofitted with alloy Weinman 622x15 rims, made in the USA with Shimano Exage HR-RM50 alloy hubs, q-r front/nutted axle rear (retrofits). New 700 x 28c VIDA FPS touring street-tread 80 psi tires fit nicely, are larger than the original thin tires & provide a better grip on the road. Schroeder valve-stem tubes. Racing-style Turbo saddle (as used by pro-riders) included on allen-wrench adjustable quality chrome post. Standard alloy pedals included. Reflectors included. Original factory kickstand.
Distance from the bottom of the pedal stroke to the (fully lowered) seat top is 32 inches. For proper fit, check your inseam length & let me know.
