Guanli, a preimere Chinese manufacturer of remote control planes has recreated a detailed version of the P-47 Thunderbolt. This Ready to Fly (RTF) 4-channel Radio Controlled World War Two replica foamie is highly detailed and great for the beginner to intermediate level RC enthusist. You have complete control over throttle, elevator, rudder, and alierons. Enough to do flying acrobatics once you master the controls. The battery takes about 2.5 hours to charge and you get a solid 10-15 minutes of flight time. The impact resistant foam body ensures it can take abuse while you learn how to fly. The package includes everything you need to start flying.
HISTORY: The Republic P-47 Thunderbolt, also known as the Jug, was the largest single-engined fighter of its day. It was one of the main United States Army Air Force (USAAF) fighters of World War Two, and also served with other Allied air forces. The P-47 Thunderbolt was effective in air combat but proved especially adept at ground attack. It had eight .50-caliber machine guns, four per wing.
