"I'm So Paid" is a song by Akon from third studio album Freedom. It features Lil Wayne on the radio edit, which is a bonus track on the iTunes version of the album, and Lil Wayne and Young Jeezy on the album version and video version. It was released as a digital download on October 4, 2008. Keeping in line with much of his recent work, Wayne uses the Auto-Tune.
"I'm So Paid" was the "Hot Shot Debut" debut at #40 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S. on the week of October 25, 2008. The song fell off the chart a few weeks later, but has already made a re-entry on the chart and started to climb back into the top fifty peaking higher this time at #31. Also, in Canada it made a "Hot Shot Debut" on the Canadian Hot 100 at #41 the same week as it did on the Billboard Hot 100.
