This is a rare 8 Reale silver coin from the Mexico Mint, recovered from the wreck site of the Spanish Treasure Flotilla which was lost in the terrible hurricane of July 31, 1715 off the east coast of Florida. This coin was recovered over 265 years later by Cobb Coin Company, Inc., Mel Fisher, President. It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
