I've looked at this coin through a head loop and I can't detect any wear at all. Every vien in every leaf is crisp and clear. This is as close to being an uncirculated coin as I have ever seen. The scenario I have pictured in my head is that this coin went strait from the bank to the fairgrounds and promptly slipped into the earth. There are only minor blemishes on the obverse of this coin that on any other circulated coin would not even be noticable. They are only seen on this coin due to the fact that this coin has a close to perfect surface that still has a luster to it
