Maggie, is just about 8 years old. A dark bay, Maggie has no markings with an exception of white sock on her right hind. she has the most gorgeous face and eyes. typical thoroughbred look, and quite delicate looking. I have had her for 2 years now, and shes quickly become my best friend. She has the biggest heart you could ask for and would do anything to make you happy.
When i bought her she had had little training and was, in the past, ridden on the track. After working with her consistently she will jump any cross rail or vertical you put in front of her. She learns very quickly, and like i said, will do anything to make you happy. I have not gotten her to a show yet, but i would love to do so sometime this summer. i regret that i will not have as much tIme for her, because I'm getting ready for college and I'm just looking for someone that will love her and take some tIme to spend with her as much as possible.
With constancy Maggie is a very good girl, for the most part. However, she is only 8, has limited training, and is in fact a thoroughbred so she can be a little hot and have quite the mareish attitude when she likes to. i say her temperament is about a 7, not because shes always hot, but she can be. as long as she understands what is going on, she is very mellow on the ground, but when she is confused or upset, she can be pretty hot. definitely not hard to handle if you know what you are doing. With the right rider Maggie is a fancy mover with a slight attitude to her step. i would STRONGLY suggest an advanced intermediate/advanced rider.
I am willing to move her if needed as long as its not too far from where i will be and i approve the conditions. The price depends on how much the board is at the barn she will be at, but i am willing to pay for any Vet/Farrier/etc. bills. I ask that she be ridden at least 3 tImes a week. i know this sounds like a lot but i just want her to be happy. Im trying my best not to part with her if i dont have to.
