Before I bought an Elmo Live 2008 for my granddaughter, I made sure that I read all the reviews and watched some videos as well. The main concern I could find about the Elmo live toy was noisy gears. I bought the Elmo Live Doll to see how loud the gears were and to see if they got in the way of the interactive play. Carefully removing Sesamestreet Elmo from his packaging so I would be able to put him back, I was ready to enjoy my Elmo Live doll. The sound of the gears was not so bad as it did not distract me from playing with him , in fact as I played with him I did not notice them at all .
The new Elmo Live 2008 Toy constantly surprised me in all its capabilities. He tells three full stories about 3 minutes long, tell a multitude of jokes and sings songs. The new Elmo Live Toy plays Elmo says, sits and dances. He is incredibly polite, blowing kisses and never forgetting his manners. I'm so happy knowing that my granddaughter will be able to interact with this wonderful toy. I do not know many people the Elmo live toy will not be able to entertain.
