Think about homemade Christmas cookies:

  • They are super-delicious, particularly if your family is used to the factory-made grocery store variety
  • You control the ingredients, so you know how fresh and wholesome they are
  • You can teach your kids and grandkids how to bake (they probably never knew you could make cookies from scratch)
  • Make plenty so you have some to share with friends and neighbors. I don't know anyone who doesn't love this kind of thoughtful (and not-very-expensive) holiday treasure!
  • They don't cost a lot (the dollar-to-wow ratio is very low!)
