- NOTE: This is the READ/WRITE PRO version of the regular free download (read ONLY) of Ntfsdos
- You WILL be able to read AND WRITE to your NTFS partitions and save your Data while you access your OS from a non-active status, therefore you have the capability of work on "UNLOCKED" system files which otherwise booting to your OS you cannot do.
- When you can't boot Windows NT, 2000, XP, 2003, or even Vista from an NTFS partition, NTFS suddenly becomes a wedge between you and your data.
- NTFSDOS Professional Edition provides a solution to this dilemma and in many cases lets you quickly and efficiently restore your system to a bootable condition.
- The product accesses and mounts your NTFS partitions as logical drives within the MS-DOS environment.
- You then have full read and write access to these partitions and can copy, edit, or delete files to restore your OS or recover valuable data.
- To ensure file-system compatibility, the software uses the same NTFS drivers that WinNT and Win2K use.
- The Ntfschk tool, which lets you run the Chkdsk program on NTFS partitions, ships with the software.
- INSTRUCTIONS: The whole program will be compiled in two zipped files, download both "ntfsdospro1.zip" and "ntfsdospro2.zip" into a temp folder in your hard drive (i.e. C:\Temp) then place an EMPTY 1.44MB floppy diskette in your floppy drive and unzip the contents of the first "ntfsdospro1.zip" file into that diskette, remove and label it "NtfsdosPro Boot Disk #1" then proceed to repeat the same previous step with the second file "ntfsdospro2.zip" into another empty diskette and label it "NtfsdosPro Disk #2"
- Now you are ready to get your work done in DOS environment and save valuable files and restore Operating Systems back to a working state...!
- NOTE: I will send you the zip file (two zipped files, one for diskette #1 and one more for diskette #2 inside as described above) so please provide an email address you can receive a 2MB size.
