UFC lightweight fighter Hermes Franca was arrested in Jupiter, Florida by the Jupiter Police Department for a DUI Offense, with the arresting officer suspecting the MMA fighter of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Franca fought recently at UFC 90: Silva vs. Cote where he beat Marcus Aurelio, but that put his record at 1-1 since his 1 year suspension for using a banned substance. Franca was, at one time, a legitimate contender for the UFC lightweight belt but only time will tell if the DUI charge sticks.
