Pass 1st Time Tips
Passing The Road Test can be easier than you think, but you have to give yourself the best chance pass. Great how do i do that ? i here you ask. Preparation in the key areas that are likely to lead to a fail if you are not prepared adequately.Below i Will outline some major areas you need to pay special attention to however obvious they may or may not appear.
Tip 1 : Get there on time: Examiners are busy people with schedules to keep the last thing you want to do is irritate your examiner at the start of the test.
Tip 2 : Don't Build it up too much : A huge amount of people fail because they are too nervous and most of them are nervous because they build it up too much. Easier said than done i hear you say.Yes it is but the way to view it is this if you pass the test on the occssion you're taking it great you are ready or at least the examiner thinks you're ready for the road on your own.
If you don't so what you now have a chance to learn how to be a safer driver benefiting from the wisdom of instructor's and experienced drivers in the meantime. Tell yourself you will pass in the future and all the hysteria about passing the road test at this particular time will seem as nothing against a lifetime of happy driving.
Tip 3 : Smooth & Gentle : You're Steering and gear changes should be as smooth as possible. If you have an xbox or playstation don't think you will impress your examiner with super fast rally gear changes or Formula 1 steering techniques because you won't and probably just terrify him. Breaking should be progressive and gentle doing hand brake turns round hairpin bends is a definite no no.

Tip 4 : Master clutch control : Once you have mastered clutch control you will have alot of confidence in your general ability to drive. I found a great way to master clutch control is to find an empty parking area and continually to repeat doing 3 point turns in the road. This is also a brilliant excercise for control of the car at slow speeds, checking observations and the added advantage of mastering a basic road skill. I believe this to be one of the most important tips on passing the road test.
Tip 5 : Anticipation : A major factor in road test passing is not doing anything dangerous on your test. Having the ability to anticipate other peoples driving mistakes and any other hazards that might appear such as unobservant pedestrians and loose dogs for example. this is where computer resources can really help in training you to react to a great number of unexpected events during simulations.
Tip 6 : Observations : Incorrect observations are perhaps the major block to road test passing. You might get away with a slight misuse of gears But you will not get away with not making correct observations especially before pulling away, making turns approaching roundabouts and changing lanes to mention a few. Quite right too ! this is dangerous driving that leads to accidents. Without the experience learner drivers may find it difficult to practice these, again this is where computer software can really help. Remember to make your observations obvious to the examiner move your head to show your making them.
I hope these tips on taking the road test are of some benefit to you and i wish you the best of luck with your driving future.
