I suppose that by definition, master mind groups would have to have more than one person. After all, that is the whole group thing. But there is more to it than just having more than one person. The point is that the people in this kind of group have to be working on a common goal. It goes back to the notion that two heads are better than one.
Where would you find one of these groups? It is so much more common than people might realize. Whether they are doing product reviews, giving business recommendations or building rocket ships, these groups thrive because a sort of synergy is formed when like minds work together for a common end.
Often times referred to as “think tanks,” some of the more famous of these groups have giving us things we probably take for granted. A perfect example of this would be the internet. No, Al Gore did not invent the internet. It can really be traced back to a group of people mainly at the University of Illinois. One person probably would not have been able to create the framework for what is now the World Wide Web. But because these people were able to put their heads together, they did come up with a result that was beyond any of them as individuals. And that is the essence of what a master mind group is.
