I have recently had to re-enter the job market after having taken a break while getting my degree. I am a little nervous because the occupation I am pursuing is in a public view more than any other job I have ever had. I am confident about my abilities but I am questioning the first impression I make because of something really trivial, my smile.
I have never liked my teeth because of an injury I sustained when I was a kid. I was running down a dirt path when I tripped over a rock and fell. Upon falling, I chipped the inside corners of my two front teeth. It wasn’t dramatic enough to have emergency dental restorations done, however it has definitely been one of the first things that people notice about me. It never bothered me when I was around friends or family but it has always made me feel uncomfortable when I am introduced to new people. Therefore, I did some research on-line and found some cool ideas.
I think if I found some marketing information that I was completely relaxed with and I had my smile corrected I would be able to focus on the interview instead of my smile.
