You may also wish to ask someone at the school what standards they use in hiring instructors; I would suggest going directly to the department of the subject you will be majoring in, as this is where the majority of your education will come from.
Although many people are skeptical about the quality of education you get from online schools, the truth is most of these schools provide good instruction from good teachers. It doesn’t hurt to double check and protect yourself, though -- after all, it is a big investment!
