Early 1900s Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilt

This is a lovely early 1900's all handmade Grandmother's Flower Garden Feedsack Quilt.

There are over 95 Flowers on this quilt. Each one measures approx. 6" across. All completely handpieced, handhemmed, handquilted! The small octagonal pieces each measures approx. 1 3/4" to 2" .

The Flowers are made of so many beautiful feedsack cotton prints, and solids. The flower centers are yellow, then a row of solid cottons in reds, blues, peach, orange, green, and more, and the outer rows are the fabulous antique prints.

The backside is a very pretty eggshell color cotton. It has a nice thin batting inside.

This quilt measures 82" x 98".
