Click title/picture for details. offer US $650.00 Denver strike from the first year Mercury Dimes were minted. This specimen has been encapsulated and the certified grade is AG-3. The obverse has a full rim. There is a good detail of the outline of Liberty. The 6 in the date is full with rimwear touching the digit. On LIB the rimwear reaches into the top of the letters. On E the rimwear touches the top of the letter. On RT the rimwear is above the letters. On the Y the rimwear is just into the top of the letter. There is rimwear in the corner of the W in the motto IN GOD WE TRUST. The "D" is above the rimwear. ONE has rimwear touching the bottom of the letters. UNITED STATES has rimwear shading the tops of the letters. The O of OF has a little less rimwear than the F. The MERIC OF AMERICA has rimwear almost halfway over the letters. The two A's have less rimwear. The IME of DIME has rimwear into the bottom of the letters but the D is lightly affected. The Fasces and branch are outlined in good detail. This dime has better than average detail for the grade AG-3.
