Silver Swing Handled Circular Bowl Hammer Finish 1917 This is a pretty Solid Silver Circular Swing Handled Bowl. It has an attractive hammer finish covering the whole body and has an embossed pattern to the top rim. It stands on 3 pad feet and it has a plain finish to the shaped handle. Aswell as the hallmarks it is also stamped with the retailers marks on the base which reads "John Bagshaw & Sons"
Assay Office: LONDON Date: 1917 Makers Marks: CE Dimensions: 4.25 inches in diameter, 4.5 inches tall when the handle is upright and 2 inches tall when the handle is down. It is of a good weight and weighs 5.5 oz (158g) Condition: It is in very good condition Remarks: A very attractive solid silver swing handled bowl that would make an ideal sugar bowl or for serving chocolates, sweets, nuts or a lovely cream bowl for serving whipped or clotted cream.
