Antique Silver Lidded Butter Dish Victorian 1882 London for sale
This is a super Victorian Solid Silver Lidded Butter Dish. It is oval in shape with a lift off cover. The deep oval shaped dish has two upright bar shaped handles and the lid fits snuggly over the dish and has a raised rim and a handle to the top. The dish and the lid are both hallmarked

Date: 1882
Makers Marks: Edward Hutton
Dimensions: 6.5 inches long, 4.5 inches wide and 2.25 inches tall. It is of a good weight and weighs 9.5 oz (271g)
Condition: It is in very good condition with no dings or dents.
Remarks: This is a lovely 126 year old Victorian solid silver butter dish that could equally be used as a cheese dish or it would make an impressive dish for serving vegetables etc. This really is a lovely item and not to be missed and a must for any collector of good antique Victorian silver
