A good web design is the same as a good novel or ebook … that is, you write the content and create the layout that your readers and viewers want to read, able to understand, and able to follow through instead of what and how you want the web pages to look like. Graphics and images create the fun look of any web design as long as they are not overwhelmingly dominating the entire page with fancy blinks and whistles. I always remember this rule during my computer programming days: “KISS” (Keep It Simple Sir). Always write and test, test, test your web pages in multiple browsers and operating systems. Designing and testing web pages that work only on most modern browsers may pose problems for your readers who may not be able to view your pages. Remember, you’re selling your web design skills and products to your viewers and not to yourself. These are just some basics in web design.
