Why Residual Affiliate Programs Are So Attractive
programs are the easiest and most fun ways to make money on the
Internet. The reason they are so easy to do is because you do not have
to have your own product in order to make money on the Internet.
Everything is done for you. You don't have to produce a product or
order one from a wholesale company, all you have to do is market and
promote and sell somebody else's product. You don't have to go to the
post office to mail products,you don't have to do any paperwork like
fill out checks or anything like that, because the vendor or the person
that actually made the affiliate product does all that. All you are
doing is promoting his or her product from your site.The
types of affiliate programs that I really like to promote are the ones
that offer a residual income. Now, a lot of people freak out they hear
the term residual income because they are accustomed to hearing the
term when it is applied to multilevel marketing, or network marketing
get rich quick schemes. Believe me when I tell you that this is not a
get rich quick scheme and in no way this is have anything to do with
network marketing or multilevel marketing. Those types of things are
for hard-core salespeople and not Internet marketers.....you
will have to generate a large amount traffic to make a good amount of
money off of affiliate programs from your web site.....
If
you have an affiliate product on your web site and chances are only
between 1% and 2% of your total traffic volume will purchase the
affiliate product. That means that you will have to generate a large
amount traffic to make a good amount of money off of affiliate programs
from your web site. But, don't let any of that discourage you from
selling affiliate products, because people are making vast amounts of
money selling them every day. You just have to work at marketing the
product and driving a lot of traffic to your site. There are a
gazillion ways of doing this, but that is a subject for another
article. I want to tell you about residual affiliate programs.
Basically,
an affiliate program is where you sell somebody else's product from
your site. The person whose product you are promoting and selling, pays
you a commission on the product or products of his that you sell from
your site. This is a very easy and straightforward way of using an
affiliate program. However, with a residual affiliate program, there is
an even better twist to the plot. The thing I like about residual
affiliate programs is that you don't make money off of them just once,
as a matter of fact every time the person that originally bought the
subscription or product pays for it again, you make money. In other
words you make money every single time they resubscribe.There are discussion groups, forums, lots of e-books to show you how make money....
Let
me give you a good example of this, so that you will know exactly what
I'm talking about. Let's just say, there is a web site called the make
money club. In order to go on a web site to learn how to make money,
the person will go on the site and have to pay a fee in order to use
it. Usually, there is all kinds of services with a web site like this.
There are discussion groups, forums, lots of e-books to show you how
make money, all sorts of interactive courses that will teach you have
make money, etc. The cost for this is $30 a month because there are so
much on the web site that you will have to come back again and again in
order to learn how to make money. Well, the way this affiliate program
works, is if you sell the subscription to that site then you make a
commission every time the person pays his or her subscription.
Usually on a site like this, it's about $30-$40 a month, and you can
make anywhere from 10 to 25% commission on that. So let's just say
you're getting a third of it, you'll be making $10 every month but that
person pays their subscription fee. Now, 10 bucks a month is no big
deal the right? OK, but let's just say that you get 20 people involved
in that subscription and let's just say for the sake of an example that
you picked a really good high quality subscription site to promote and
all those 20 people stay for at least a year. Well you will be making
$200 a month for as long as those people stay on the subscription site!
Now let's say you are promoting several sites that
have similar residual or subscriptions to them. As a matter of fact,
there are all kinds of service sites from article posting sites to
advertising sites to subscription of online course taking sites that
you could become involved with very easily. If you have 500 people
involved in the subscriptions you could be easily making anywhere from
$1000 to $2000 a month just on the subscription sites. Now, I am not
going to tell you that this is easy to do, because it involves a lot of
marketing and thinking process through. But believe it or not, there
are people making between five and $10,000 a month doing this, you just
have to really get your butt in gear and promote a market the
subscription or residual affiliate programs. Hey, if it
was easy, everybody would be doing it in making scads of money and as
we know, in life that no matter what you do that is worth while it
takes effort. The cream of the crop of the people work their tails off
and do whatever it takes. I personally believe if you grab this concept
and run when it and really learn as much as you can all promoting these
types of sites you can make a good solid residual income that can last
two for years.
