Click title/picture for details. offer US $725.00 This was the top of the line for Klein. It has full Shimano XTR components and a very lightweight frame. The seatpost is a Thompson. The wheels are ROLF. The handlebar is a bontrager. The computer is a Cateye. The handlebar stem is an ICON MC3. I don’t have a scale to weigh it but these are light and sweet mountain bikes. Check out the internal routing of the cables in the frame. These are handbuilt frames in the USA. The bike looks nice. There are some small scratches and nicks around but no dents or abuse. The owner is not a hard core mountain bike rider….more paved trails and street. The bike is in good working order except I would put a new rear derailleur on it because it isn’t shifting great. I think it should have a long cage derailleur on it. It is a 1999.
Click title/picture for details. offer US $515.00 pre-1996 Klein made at the original factory. I purchased it used in 1993. It is a great bike and still rides like new. Original wheels had some issues, so unfotunately had to put these like-new but a bit generic wheels from a Specialized Rockhopper on it. I am also including the original fork which can be reinstalled. The frame has internal cable runs and is in nice shape for 16 years old. This bike would make a great nostalgic single speed conversion or add a 50 - 75 mm travel fork and it would be killer hard tail. This bike is very agile and quick in the woods. Component List Klein's Mission Control bars, Klein's chain control device, XT hubs, XT 8 gear cassette, XT head set, XT front derailleur, grip shift 9.0 shifters and rear derailleur, XT cranks, Mavic 231CD rims, and Diacomp 987 brakes and levers. I am including the original owners manual and sales literature with Tinker on the front.
