Dear Eczema Sufferer
Eczema is a bummer. But the physical and emotional side effects are even worse.
You know how it is. You experience fits of intense itching. It’s constant and just won’t go away, no matter how insistent or how intense you scratch.
Moreover, almost anything can set you off. A humid warm room, certain foods, irritating fabrics, cosmetics, stress and even nervousness. Any one or more of these irritants can set you off on a mad itchy fit where you scratch hysterically.
In fact, the more you scratch, the more intense the itch grows until you become a person possessed. And you become emotionally drained and experience low self-esteem.
Here’s what else. When your skin calms down, you suffer deep stinging sensations and your skin slowly oozes blood and white sticky pus. Yuck!
But that’s not the finish of it. Later, when the blood dries up, your skin feels tight, raw and dehydrated.
