Click title/picture for details. offer US $199.00 as seen at the online BMX MUSEUM - this 16 inch wheelsize Niitaka BMX has very nice chrome with no dings, dents or rewelds. and the chrome is also 100% intact with no pitting, chipping or flaking. IT LOOKS OR AT LEAST IT SEEMS TO ME to be in all original unrestored condition and is a super rare bmx bike.my BEST GUESS is that this is around a 1981 model.it comes with a blue Niitaka top frame tube pad as i just removed it to show how nice the top tube is.an ebayer asked me about the originality of the parts on the bike-well the parts do look to be all original to me as they all seem to be from the correct era BUT THEN IM NOT A BMX SCIENTIST OR EVEN A BMX EXPERT- the rims are steel and are made by KIN LIN and have a blue coating that looks very simular to what came on the old school 80's Murray bmx bikes-i have KIN LIN rims on my 26 inch BOSS cruiser that is also shown in the online bmx museum and they were MOST LIKELY made in Taiwan...the pedals are also steel and have the same blue coating on them as the rims-no manufacturers markings on the pedals that i could find - the STEEL rims and STEEL pedals are NOT anadized aluminum and neither are the handlebars or the gooseneck which PROBABLY/MOST LIKELY have the same blue coating - again i am not an expert...the steel rims spin fairly straight but not perfect as almost all the steel wheels i have seen are only so high of quality and i have yet to see any spin any straighter than these...the blue tires hold air but are worn down and some new tires would be cool...the grips actually look pretty cool and look like the FUAN F1 grips i use on my boss cruiser-i got my new FUAN f1 grips for my Boss cruiser here at ebay...this 16 inch bmx bike is so very rare that i have not seen another example THAT IS CONFIRMED AS ALL ORIGINAL to compare it with but then i haven't done any research on the originality of this old bmx bike. i just revised the listing to show some better pictures that show the bottom bracket and details better - it uses a rear coaster brake and the coaster brake arm says Shimano and the front hub is not marked at all from what i could see...my guess is this was made in Taiwan as were alot of bmx parts in the 80's...there are scratches on the handlebars and gooseneck - the pedals spin freely and look to be totally useable - i was going to install new tires and change out the seat to a blue Viscount Dominator as thats my favorite bmx seat and nthis seat has some tears in the cover
