By changing your attention and focus, you are telling the OCD monster that YOU CAN CONTROL your own thoughts. This is the most important. Whenever you have an OCD thought, or feel compelled to do something obsessive, just go through step 1 to step 3. Keep doing it, you will notice a change.

4. Lastly, every time you succeed in step 1 to step 3, congratulate yourself and, REVALUE, look back at what you have learnt and tell yourself, OCD cannot control you, but rather, you can kick this OCD monster away. The last step is inner talk, by taking continuous action and being AWARE, you will see and notice that you CAN get back your self esteem, and know OCD is curable.
