The CJ750 is manufactured at the ChangJiang military factory using the same basic design and processes used in 1938. This means that some of the characteristics we associate with modern vehicles simply do not apply to the CJ750 .Generally, the most noticeable item on factory fresh bikes is the emphasis on robustness, and not "fit and finish". Simply put, the factory bikes are utilitarian military motorcycles.
The overall reliability of the motorcycle however, cannot be faulted, and CJ750 motorcycles have been extensively used for long distance touring around world and are legendary for their ability to keep running, under even the toughest conditions.
Some examples of these improvements are the ATST developed wiring harness, and the major electrical components relocated under the tank to improve both the appearance and reliability. Our designed sidecar brake is fitted to improve braking performance and stability, and different gearing options are available to suit customers requirements. Chrome locking petrol caps are standard. Sidecar alignment is setup on a specially designed jig.
After assembly each and every motorcycle is subjected to a careful and thorough road test to ensure the quality of the motorcycle.
