If your old Cam Angle surfaces are scuffed or scratched, it affects clutch shifting performance, and Cam should be replaced (however many other variables do apply to clutch tuning). This is a working unit. I personally tested for spark before tear down. The wire terminals are good (no cut wires). Looks ready to use as is. This is a nice looking item.

As you can see in the pic, this is a very nice looking item. I would give it a good cleaning, as all 30 year old carbs would need.
