On his web site, LarryGoins.com , Larry shares a very personal story of how everything was great back in 1998 and that he, his wife, and 18 month old daughter were living a good life. Unfortunately, Larry's wife found a lump on her breast. Two and a half years later, his wife passed away from cancer and all of a sudden his world was turned upside down with no wife and a three year old daughter.

Larry goes on to explain that he had entered real estate a couple of times before but just couldn't seem to make it work. He simply could not find the time to check properties, write deals, etc. But, things were different now, his back was literally against the wall, and he had to find a way make it happen.
