Click title/picture for details. offer US $94.95 700C, Super Condition, Great Ride jj Here's a super nice vintage steel road bike that would be perfect for a woman or the smaller statured male that wants a lightweight, quality bike that looks almost as sharp as the day it rolled off the showroom floor. This 1986 Japan made Panasonic DX-3000 is in superb condition, and needs nothing short of your favorite bar tape. This lugged steel road bike is constructed of Tange 900 double butted tubing, which is about the same as Tange No. 2 as far as weight and strength goes. Fork is Tange Mangaloy 2001. The paint is in GREAT shape; there are some little nicks and scrapes, mostly on the drive side seat stay, but they will all touch up easily with a paint pen and as you can see in the pics the finish is super nice. There are a few scrapes on the right side brake lever, but all the components are in excellent condition both cosmetically and functionally. The frame is straight as an arrow without even a dimple, no problems to speak of. This bike rides, brakes, and shifts smoothly just like it should. Although the components are top notch this would also make a killer looking single speed or fixed gear. This bike is equipped with SR Sakae SX cranks with 165mm arms (great for shorter people) and double SR chainrings 42/52 tooth that are in nice condition. Shimano 600 brakes (Z57) and brake levers, Shimano Light Action derailleurs FD-Z206, RD-L525, Shimano Light Action S424 braze-on shift levers (braze-ons are great because they can easily be upgraded to the newer STI levers). Check out the really neat vintage Selle Italia saddle; it's in superb condition. SR Sakae Custom Road Champion handlebars, SR LaPrade post, Shimano 6 speed freewheel, Panaracer tires with some wear but still good for riding, Ukai 700 x 25C wheels made in Japan of light aluminum alloy. KKT Pro Vic II road pedals, Sansin sealed hubs, SR Sakae Custom stem, and a bottle cage too. Seat tube measures 50cm C-C, top tube measures 53cm C-C, standover is 29.5 inches, rear spacing is 126mm. What a great find for anyone in the market for a quality road bike for way less than retail, especially if you've been looking for a smaller frame like this one. This would make a great gift this year, it's in super nice condition and will put a smile on the face of almost any rider. Great lightweight and well-built road bike for a great price.

It is in the original and very appealing BRIGHT RED colored factory paint. If you like clean original bikes, this may be a great bike for you. It was always stored inside in a clean dry area. With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! *FEATURES This is a quality vintage bicycle with some great features. It has a lightweight 1020 high tensile tubing frame. Has lightweight aluminum rims, chrome tip forks, 3-piece cranks, and more! *The tires are 27". They are vintage tires and do hold air. They should be replaced if you want to do any distance riding. I believe they are the original tires the bike came with when new way back in the day. The bike has chrome rims front and rear. *The bike is an original TEN SPEED and it the gears do operate. The hand controlled brakes are operable as well. (may need adjustment or possible cable replacement) *DIMENSIONS The stand over height is approx 31 1/4". The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 32". The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 21 1/4". The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 21 1/2". The bike will accomadate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust. *NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is nice! The paint looks good for a 30+ year old bike! The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality.
