1970 Chevrolet Chevelle

Bored & stroked 454( 496 cubic in) Engine never loads up & never runs hot. Totally street legal & runs on pump gas. Gets loads of attention. I've never had it on a drag strip because of insurance coverage but it is quick. The street Hoosiers on the car will not hold the H.P. in the first two gears. Driven mostly around town but I have taken it for a 50 mile one way trip with no problems ever. The car is transported longer distances on the red car hauler in background of one picture. Many firsts in car shows and a second at Super Chevy Show in Gainesville. Too many cars for the space I have.

1.Professionally built engine by Scott Davis at Comp Cam 454 BBC with .060 overbore and 1/4" stroker crank (496 cu.in) with March pulley system and Griffin radiator.
2.Turbo 400 reverse TCI manual valve body with TCI street fighter torque converter with 2700 stall.
3. S&W ladder bar rear half suspension tubbed out with QA1 coil over shocks.
4. Eight point roll cage.
5. Weld pro star wheels with Hossier pro street tires. (26 x 7.5 X 15 & 31 X 18.5 x 15)
6. Wildwood front disc brakes. Ford F250 rear drums.
7. PST lowered front springs.
8. Polyurethane bushings.
9. B&M mega shifter.
10. Professionally built Ford 9" with 33 spline Mosier axles with spool with billet pinion housing.
11. All new vinyl interior.
12. All body panels including full quarters,door skins rocker panels, front fenders, inner fenders, floor pans, chrome pieces and grille are new as well as windshield and rear window.
13. Black single stage Dupont paint with clear mixed in 3rd coat. (Flawless)
14. Trunk finished out in vinyl & carpet with 10 gallon fuel cell and battery in plastic case.
15. Engine dynoed at 589 H.P. and 579 lb. torque with 1 7/8 " headers and 750 Speed Demon carb. It has since been changed to 2 1/8 ' headers and a Holley 1000 H.P. series 950 CFM carb. It has aluminum Brodix BB2 heads with large Comp cam valve train and matching springs and Brodix HVH 1002 aluminum intake manifold. Also has Hooker super competition coated headers.
