1970 Plymouth Cuda that started life off with a 318.
It now has a brand new 440 with 375 High performance built
to 1970 OE specifications with a 727 torque flight transmission and 8 rear end.
Let me start off by saying this Cuda has gone a complete bumper to bumper,
frame off restoration with every nut, bolt, and screw.
Car was done top notch (I dont deal with rust).
I started with a completely rebuilt 440 with all new components,
which runs exceptionally
well (no missing, no hesitation, no over heating, no leaks, and no smoke).
The transmission is also completely rebuilt with all factory components
and shifts perfect and has no leaks
(yes, it does chirp in first gear just like a 440 Cuda should shift).
The rear end has also been rebuilt with all new bearings and seals.
So as for the drive train it is done right, I dare say perfect.
But, I dont think it could be done any better.
The exhaust on this car is made by TTI and sounds absolutely great bolted up
to the 1970 High performance exhaust manifolds.
The front end is 100 % completely redone
with every bushing ball joint and tie rod replaced new.
This Cuda runs, drives and shifts better than new.
As for the body, this Cuda was done in M3 pink panther pink,
base coat with clear coat and a black hockey stripe.
This body has had a complete make over with new quarter panels, new rear wells,
new trunk pan, new trunk lid, new front floor sections,
and new under rear seat floor sections.
The doors are rust free, front fenders and hood are also rust free.
So this body is rock solid, as I stated.
I do not deal with rust.
These cars are getting harder and harder to find as they are being scooped up
by collectors, especially one of this caliber.
They only made so many of these cars and they are far and few between these days.
No, you wont pay $100,000.00 to purchase this car but all your friends will think you did.
