As an Online Advertising Sales Associate, you create new business opportunities for our clients that include Microsoft and Cisco. You will have the opportunity to be rewarded based on merit, to grow professionally, and to take charge of your own daily schedule. It's similar to being your own boss. You should be comfortable making dozens of cold calls a day, committed to gaining new clients, and enthusiastic about working in a team sales and support environment.
Venture Consulting, Inc provides online advertising solutions to major technology companies like Microsoft and Cisco. We grow and retain our business through the strength of word-of-mouth recommendations, and therefore do not maintain a company website.
Responsibilities:
--Make outgoing phone calls to executives of major American companies on behalf of companies like Microsoft and Cisco
--Set up sales meetings with these executives
--Sell online advertising solutions
Requirements:
--Comfortable making cold-calling executives of large American companies.
--Must be able to make a large volume of phone calls to set up appointments with these potential clients. These will be calls in which no previous introduction has been made.
--Excellent communication skills
--Sales experience (or marketing / communications background) is preferred but not essential.
--Self-directed with strong drive and an interest in learning.
--Enjoy working in on rapidly changing, fast-paced entrepreneurial projects.
--Strong interest in the internet and sales
Additional Requirements:
--Perfect English communication skills, with an American or British accent since you will be speaking with American companies
--Availability to start immediately
--Availability to work on a project basis (meaning that this could individual projects could last two weeks and then you would have a break in work before starting up again)
