Every Tuesday, in West Hollywood,California, Producer/writer Kenny Beck seeks out the very best is unsung and unheralded Hollywood talent on the rise...From actors to burlesque queens, it's really something to behold and he always has a number of entertainment industry types in attendance. It always turns about to be a really fund kind of thing and he has a full slate planned for you in the upcoming weeks, watch out! Sometime in mid-June around the 18th, Beck plans to kick off his Burlesque Queen (Who will be crowned?) competition...Each week some talented young damsel in almost nothing but her birthday suit, will shimmy and shake across the floor in hopes of scoring the cool $100 bucks offered as the first prize, but don't worry, that ain't all! We'll also be giving away some sponsorship gear and memorabilia to help spice up the night. The event culminates after 9 weeks, with the Crowning of the Queen of Burlesque and the award of $500 bucks to her majesty, somewhere around August 27th, 2008. In addition to the cash and prizes, we're also going to shoot a little documentary about the whole affair so Ladies, you'd better start tightening up your best "Gypsy Rose Lee" impressions, check out some new stockings and garters and come on down to Hadaka Sushi, 8226 Sunset Blvd, West Hollywood, Ca 90046, and don't forget to check out and compete in our Performing Artists competition every Tuesday.
