These black Labrador Retriever puppies are soo cute and are a must-see. They are currently 10 weeks of age, are happy, lovable, full of snuggles and have truly an incredible disposition…very sweet babies.

There are 10 puppies total and 7 are still available for sale. They will be either sold trained or untrained. If there is something specific you are looking to do with your puppy, I can make it happen.

I will work through the puppy antics such as housebreaking, jumping, mouthing, and teething and continue on to obedience and manners. The training will begin in the neutral area to build the foundation of commands and then taken into various locations to create confidence, soundness, leadership, and control. All of the puppies will be properly socialized to other dogs, animals, and people; in addition, they will have become exposed to different environments and situations.

With both of the dogs coming from field and working lines, I am going to see what I can bring out of each puppy. I plan on keeping at least one and then selling the rest. Of course, the more training that is completed on each puppy, the higher the cost of the puppy.

I will build the foundation for the puppies to go into any sort of a home. If someone wishes to have a Labrador that they can hunt with, the puppy will be ready for the field training once I am done with them. The obedience will already be there.

For example, if someone would like to use their dog for therapy or service dog work, they will already have been conditioned to many different environments and situations. Together we can continue on with additional specific training.

Perhaps someone wants just like a companion dog with exquisite manners. They will be able to take their dog to more public places like out to lunch, the Fresh Market, parks, or special events that allow dogs like Jazz Fest. From these experiences the dog can also gain confidence and poise from the freedom.

I will cater to someone’s specific needs. For example, one of the persons that is currently interested would like to be able to have different objects retrieved to him like the phone when it rings or the remote for the television. So, I will teach him/her the name of each object and then bring them when commanded.

I feel that this is going to give the owner the correct steps in the right direction for their lifetime ownership of their newest addition. By knowing what to do and how to handle situations, I also feel this is an excellent way to prevent any type of behavioral issue such as separation anxiety. I feel that prevention is so much easier and better than treatment.

They are soo adorable!!!! Let me just give you some insight into the lineage of these puppies.

The dam, Fiona, a working dog, has been titled in obedience and agility, and she also has received her Canine Good Citizen (CGC). Additionally, she is used for both educational work and therapy work. Fiona is also special because she comes from pointing lines …meaning that she points; very, very nice and hard to find! I am already seeing these unique characteristic in the puppies.

The sire, Tank, is also a working dog. He has his Master Hunter (MH) at age 3 which is the highest level in the Hunt Trials. You basically earn 3 legs to receive a title and there are 5 titles before the MH. Tank won the 2007 Georgia Ducks Unlimited Retriever Challenge earning him the title Georgia DU Champion! He is a gorgeous dog as well…black.

Both of the dogs are American Kennel Club (AKC) registered and Fiona is also United Kennel Club (UKC) registered.

Both Fiona and Tank have been certified by the Orthopedic Foundation Association (OFA) for their hips & elbows and both are excellent. The ratings are: excellent, good, fair, normal, and poor. They both also have been registered to the Canine Eye Registration Foundation (CERF). This simply states that both of the dogs are cleared from any hereditary or congenital eye defects, since, it does affect the breed.
