This fun, interactive story follows the adventures of a cheerful little critter setting off on a trip to the seaside with his grandmother. Big, bold text runs across the top of your screen for each section of the lively animated story, and every word is clearly highlighted while it's being read aloud. Accompanied by gentle music and realistic seaside sound effects, children can click on objects such as buckets and spades and be told what they are called, or they can simply listen to the characters while they talk and play together by the sea.
Just Grandma and Me is a great story with several great options (like Spanish and Japanese reading modes). The language option reinforces language learning in bilingual children as well as teaching kids computer skills and literacy skills. It is a really fun and educational activity that kids are drawn to. It is easy to install, runs smoothly and is very easy to play; and the gameplay never gets boring for you child.
Mercer Mayer's highly entertaining Just Grandma and Me CD-ROM will keep plenty of restless grandchildren occupied for hours. Choose to hear the story read aloud, or simply click on the play options and quickly start building sandcastles or collecting shells from the sandy beach.
