Product Review
This album brings together some of the best artists which make the songs seem new, even though some of them are the same songs youve listened to as a child. It starts with "Puff the Magic Dragon. It also has Anne Murray's telling "Hey Daddy," the amazing a capella train sound effects of Sweet Honey in the Rock's "Little Red Caboose," John McCutcheon's classic rockin', story tellin' version of "Skip to My Lou" which are all choice selections from each artists' collection of works.
With entertainers like Burl Ives, Danny Kaye, Pete Seeger, Loggins & Messina, Taj Mahal, and James Taylor performing some of their best-loved kids' titles, adults and children can share in the joy and fun of this multigenerational collection. Be it quacking with "The Ugly Duckling," singing along with folksy "This Old Man," bopping to the calypso beat of "The Banana Boat Song," or daydreaming to "House on Pooh Corner," every member of the family will find a favorite in this compilation of songs by the original artists. This is definitely one of the CDs that you can invest on. Its great for both kids and adults.
