OK, in the world of electric bicycles there are industry standards that are so good and reasonably priced that just about everyone is either selling them or endorsing them. One of the industry standards out there is the E-Zip Mountain Trailz Electric Bicycle.

This is what you would call an all terrain electric bike but I don’t think I would use it on a dirt bike competition or anything like that. What that means in terms of electric bicycling, is that it can handle hills as well as level areas. The E-Zip has the power to get you over modest hills and can take you to the places you need to go relatively easily. However, from people that I have talked to about this ebike, they have said that it needs some help climbing steep hills. In other words, when you are riding up a steep hill you will need to pedal some.

The E-Zip Mountain Trailz Electric Bicycle also boasts a 25 mile range but many of the people that I have talked to that own this electric bike has told me that the E-Zip’s charging range is more like 15 miles in range. Some times, when the manufacturer tests their product it is under ideal conditions so, naturally the distance is longer. Not to complain about this company, because all of the electric bike manufacturers boast their longer distances because of the testing under ideal conditions. However, if you have a 15 mile radius under a single charge, then this e-bike should fill the bill. Another thing that you will have to consider is your weight because that will cause a considerable change in your range and the bike is not designed for people over 230 lbs.
