Product Review
DCRIP7BT is the world's first Internet-ready digital camcorder. This camcorder thats part computer is offered by Sony. You can now email or post on the internet your footage using the memory straight from the camera without hooking up to an external computer!
With DCR IP7BT you can send and receive pictures (JPEG), video clips (MPEG1) and text-based e-mails stored on the Memory Stick wherever you are: anytime, anywhere. A maximum of 50 names and addresses can be stored and up to 50 messages can be saved on Memory Stick (sold separately). Web sites can be browsed via the DCR-IP7BT 2.5" monitor. Leading-edge Bluetooth technology and the Sony Memory Stick afford you the flexibility.
Sony DCRIP7BT MicroMV Digital Camcorder only measures less than 2 inches wide, 4 inches high, and just over 3 inches deep. But dont think that because of its size, it has lesser features. It has a 10x optical zoom and 2.5-inch LCD onto this thing, which means Sony didn't sacrifice anything in their quest for smallness.
Plus, they've included a digital still mode (and MPEG movie mode) that records onto Memory Stick. With the Bluetooth adapter, you can e-mail pictures and short movie clips right from the camcorder, but you need to be near a computer that is equipped with Bluetooth as well.
