RE: Electric Bike Conversion KitIf you are like me, then you'll probably don't like doing too many mechanical things. When I told my friends that I was going to build my own electric bicycle they all just rolled their eyes at me like I was going insane. However, I didn't bother telling them that I was going to use an electric bike kit to do it. You can get all kinds of really cool electric bicycle kits and they are actually pretty easy to install on your own bike. All you need is your own bicycle and the kit. Oh yeah, you're going to need some time too, because you will need to put a few things together. Don't worry, it isn't as hard as it would seem to put an electric bike kit together. If you are going to be riding a lot of hills then you are going to need something that requires more power There are a couple of considerations that you are going need to think about before you install your kit. First of all, you are going to need to think about the terrain that you are going to be riding on. If you are going to be riding a lot of hills then you are going to need something that requires more power or you you should be willing to pedal some. Is there going to be rough terrain or are you going to be just riding on roads? I personally like using electric bikes in urban areas where you can get to places realitively quickly. If this is what you need one for then you are in luck, there are tons of them to suit your purpose There are litterally tons of electric bicycle kits out there in all different shapes and size. Some are moderately priced and some are very expensive. You can estimate that it will run you between $400.00 to over $900.00 for a decent Ebike conversion kit.
