Apolo has phenomenal breeding that speaks for itself. He has all of the top horses in the industry all the way through his bloodlines. He is extremely quick with his footfall and he has a killer largo. For these reasons, he does require an experienced rider or a rider that is familiar with the Paso Fino breed. He is sweet and is very willing to please. He is wonderful with the farrier and he doesn't have any vices. He has a wonderful full, long mane that even stays long when he is kept outside 24/7. His price has been reduced because he jumped off of the trailer and he has come up lame. We think that he strained his stifle, but when we massage him and make him flex and back up, he immediately begins to look better. You can still ride him and he does fine at the corto and largo, but as soon as you make him walk he begins to limp. I do not have the time to let him recuperate and that is the reason for me selling him. Before his injury he was a trail and show horse that was unstoppable. He only has 188 PFHA points, but that was with limited showing. He was shown in pleasure, performance, and fino and he gained two reserve championship titles in Asheville along with many others. If you want an awesome gelding for and unbeatable price, then this is your guy. With a little bit of TLC he will be back to normal and he will be ready to work for you.
