FREE Prison Newsletter. Do you, a family member or acquaintance know of someone in prison that could use some attention and TLC? If so, forward their contact information and we will put them on our mailing list for our FREE Prison Newsletter Titled: “From The Desk of Mama Hen. HI! I’m Mama Hen... and I write a sassy, encouraging monthly “in color” Newsletter full of pictures, advice and a puzzle or two.
Sent out each month, it’s a perfect tool for connecting with and reminding our prisoners that there is in fact someone “out there” thinking about them. And if they write Mama Hen, I ALWAYS write a personal letter back. Can You Help? If Not, That’s Fine Too, But... because our Newsletter is FREE to our Prisoners, we depend on all the help we can get to cover postage, color ink and paper. I am not a non-profit... so my husband and I cover ALL the expenses ourselves. Our current mailing is 100 Issues, with a waiting list of 1,400 inmates on file. We can ALWAYS use Stamps, Printer Ink (Hp 88xl ink in black, magenta, cyan and yellow), or, $15 (give or take) - check made payable to ILene Vick and mailed to POB 49031, Cookeville, TN 38506-9031.
