The MP5 (short for Maschinenpistole 5) is a 9mmsubmachine gun of German design, developed in the 1960s by H&K. The K variant is a shorter personal defense weapons (PDW) version of the MP5, and is very popular with body guards and CQB (Close Quarters Battle). It was designed as a compact weapon for vehicle or aircraft crewmen.
