Ridley Bicycles was founded in 1990.
Through innovative technical and graphic design, they quickly became the
leading manufacturer in Belgium. In 2003 Ridley released its first full
carbon road frame, the Damocles, which has since gone on to win countless
victories in grand tours, spring classics, and more with ProTour team
Davitamon-Lotto.
The Noah made its debut at the 2006
Tour de France and was ridden to 5th place overall by Cadel Evans, and first
place in the Sprint competition to green jersey winner Robbie McEwen, who also
took three stages on his new bike. The incredible frame stiffness in the bottom
bracket, integrated seat post, and oversize head tube areas led McEwen to call
it "the fastest bike I’ve ever ridden”.
Now, in 2008, Ridley offers a complete
range of bicycles for every type of rider, including 5 complete carbon frames -
4 of which are used by professional teams.
Ridley bicycles are designed and tested to be the best
performing bicycles in the world.
