Silver 3 Piece Tea Set. This is a lovely Solid Silver 3 Piece Tea Set. It is circular in shape with a beaded decoration around the top rims and around the spreading pedsestal base rims which adds a stylish finishing touch. The Teapot has a simulated wooden scroll handle and finial to the lid. The sugar bowl and the milk jug both have scroll handles which match the shape of the teapot handle.
Assay Office: BIRMINGHAM
Date: 1930
Makers Marks: H.C.Co
Dimensions: The Teapot is 5 inches tall, 9.5 inches wide from handle to spout, the actual circular body being 5.5 inches in diameter. The Sugar Bowl is 2.25 inches tall and 6 inches wide from handle to handle, the body being 3.75 inches in diameter. The Milk Jug is 2 inches tall, 5.5 inches wide from handle to lip and the body is just under 3.5 inches in diameter. The total weight of this set is 22 oz (626g)
Condition: It is in very good condition with no dings or dents. I have to say that the sugar bowl and the milk jug look as if they have never been used, but there is some very light staining to the inside of the Teapot commensurate with very light usage and a very very small surface scratch. This is minor and is only noticeable on very close inspection
Remarks: This is a super solid silver 3 Piece Tea Set that would grace any home, and when not in use makes a lovely display item. I am offering this set at a very low starting price, so please do not miss it.
