Solid Silver & Cut Glass Claret Jug. This is a beautiful Victorian Solid Silver & Cut Glass Claret Jug. It has a solid silver mounted pouring lip, collar, hinged lid and handle. The lip has a conical shell pattern to it and the rim of the top opening has a beaded decoration. The hinged lid has a decorative finial. The handle forms a triangular shape to the glass baluster shaped glass body. The cut glass body is highly decorative which can best be described as a snowflake pattern. The hallmarks are very crisp and clear.

Dimensions: 8.25 inches tall, 4.25 inches wide including the handle, and the actual glass body is 4 inches wide at its widest point. This is also quite heavy and weighs a total of 30.3/8oz (861g)
