How to Recognize Employees- Employee Appreciation

Admit it, you probably missed "Employee Appreciation Day" which was during the first week of March. It's not too late to do something about that. Really, everyday should be employee appreciation day , just as you show gratitude and good feelings towards family members and don't wait till they have a birthday.

The most important thing you can do is to have genuine care and good listening skills for your employees. This isn't something to "fake". People don't want to be criticized or demeaned at work but noticed and acknowledged. If someone has a car problem give them a few minutes to make calls to gain peace of mind. Think about incorporating ideas from employees as well.
