The Sole E25 elliptical is the lowest priced elliptical from Sole Fitness while the Sole E95 is the highest priced elliptical from Sole Fitness. These two models are usually priced $700 apart.
On the surface, these two ellipticals look almost identical. The console, the body, the color all share a eery similarity. But looks can be deceiving and you should never buy based on looks alone. In this review, we take a look at what those exact similarities are so you can decide which elliptical is best for you.
The Sole E25 and the Sole E95 look pretty much the same on the outside save for one major difference. On the more expensive Sole E95, you can see extra plastic shrouds on the rear rails. The purpose of this is to further enhance the stability of the machine. Generally speaking, you can say that machines that are heavier, are more stable, less likely to breakdown and more comfortable to workout on.
There's a 26 pound difference in the two ellipticals' weight and a 75 pound difference in the weight capacity. These differences may not seem significant but they definitely contribute to the overall quality and reliability of the machine. That's why the Sole E95 is warranted against breakdown of parts for five years while the Sole E25 is only warranted for three years.
If you're deciding whether you should buy the E25 or E95, ask yourself, how important is quality and reliability. Although the Sole E25 is likely better than many of its similarly priced competitors, it's still a budget model. If you can afford it, get the Sole E95. If you can't, get the Sole E35 as it is still a great deal better than the E25 in quality but not quite as expensive as the E95. You're striking a happy medium if you pick the E35.
