Fast Start into Photoshop: Photoshop in a Day
You open up the box, and there it is, PHOTOSHOP, the ultimate graphics application.
You think of all the power that is at the tip of your mouse, and all the projects you will be
doing in the near future. Then it hits you, I have to learn how to run this application.
That is the way it was for all of us when we first installed Photoshop. What is the best way to
learn Photoshop? Is there an easy way to learn the application that doesn’t take months of
training classes that cost as much as Photoshop itself.
I found a tutorial called “Photoshop in a Day Tutorial Manual” which is an ebook. It is simple,
and doesn’t bog you down with lots of jargon or alternatives for doing things, all at once.
Best of all it takes you through several lessons which at the end of one day you are actually
able to do some meaningful work.
It comes with lots of graphics which are downloaded on to your computer, and used in the
lessons. The lessons are well explained and easy to follow. They build on each other to give
you the knowledge you need for the more advanced lessons that follow.
Time seems to stand still as you are working through the lessons and ‘Oh’ the feeling of
accomplishment. The power of Photoshop is now being unleashed on our own computer
and these small steps will be the building blocks to success in the future. Look its only 4 pm,
I can do this a few more hours. The world of graphics is mine.
Photoshop in a Day
I took Photoshop 1 & 2 at a local college last year, and I am going through the tutorial to refresh
my knowledge since we usually lose what we don’t use, after a short time. I’m finding that I’m
learning some new things I didn’t know as well as enhancing my memory with the things I did
know. All this is in “The Basics” section of the tutorial. I will be getting to the “Beyond the Basics”
which is the next step, in a while.
You know that at times your mind is racing and you remember that photo you want to clean up.
So you stop for just a short time to scan in the photo and try what you learned in the last lesson.
‘WOW it works’, what a difference. I bet I can do something about the color, but wait, I haven’t
learned that part yet. Back to the tutorial.
When we learn we get more excited and the more meaningful the lessons are the more we
want to learn, so it feeds itself and we are learning and then experimenting on our own.
So there is an easy way to learn Photoshop and that way is “Photoshop in a Day”.
Follow the site below and check it out, I am sure that you will be glad you did. I was.
