I just sold his little minnie donkey buddy, so he's lonely. He stood at the fence and called me today..
7 year old sorrel Quarter Horse/Mustang. Not sure of his exact height, or of his birthdate. All i know is that he was born in 2000. When I bought Elijah, he was over 200lbs underweight, wormy, and needed his hooves done badly. He is 100% healthy. Some months ago, he had an abscess from a bad trim job. Hasn't been ridden for a while, so he will need to be reconditioned. Never had a lameness probablem before the abscess. I took him on 2+ hour trail rides 4 days a week, and he was perfectaly fine. Farrier came to trim him Thursday and used the hoof testers on him and said he is 100% sound again. Responds well to leg and rein cues. Needs an expierenced handler. He works very well in the round pen, and is fine with being hosed off. Does move around a bit for the farrier. Picks up all four hooves with no problem. UTD on his vacs/coggins - just had them done yesterday. Great disposistion, he just needs someone more expierenced then me. I need a horse that is good for beginners, as I just don't have that much expierence. MAY BE WILLING TO TRADE FOR A KID SAFE TRAIL HORSE. E-mail for more pics/info! Thanks
